Geminid Meteor Shower December 14, 2009
The Geminid meteor shower this year will not have the moon interfering with the display, because the moon is in a crescent phase just before sunrise. Sky & Telescope reports we should see approximately 100 per hour. The view above is at around 9pm local time. Geminids are usually pretty bright so check it out!
